Why Volunteer?
Volunteering with the program is a great way to spend time with your student and make a huge impact on how we operate.

We do ask that every parent volunteer to chaperone for at least one or more of our football games or events/competitions. This helps ensure that our students are served to the highest level. We always appreciate service to our students and the band family - It makes a massive impact in everything we do.

Ways to Serve
ChaperonesHelp chaperoning and supervise band members during football games and competitions. Chaperones get to know the band members and see the show up close. Help band members with their uniforms and get ready for the field show. May help provide water during practice and events. Chaperones may be asked to ride on the buses with band members to the competitions and events (some overnight). All chaperones’ rooms and transportation costs are covered by the band. Again, we ask that you give your time at one or more band events. You can ride the bus to the event or follow the bus in your car for most events.

Feed the KatsThe Feed the Kats volunteers help the program by coordinating catering deliveries, prepping the meals to be distributed, and serve those meals to the students. With over 150 members, our marching band has a lot of mouths to feed, so the help we recieve from parent volunteers is critical to our success.

There will always be other ways for you to volunteer your time. Our boosters are constantly looking for ways to serve their students and the program. When a need is presented, the booster board will organize a way for you to get involved.
